PA Student Aaron Martin Class of 2025Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Where did you do your undergraduate work?
I earned my bachelor's degree in Biological Laboratory Science from Davenport University, which is a small private school in Grand Rapids.

Why did you choose the PA profession?
I chose the PA profession because it is a career in health care that allows me to give back to the community, foster impactful relationships with patients and to help in a multitude of settings in the continually changing landscape of medicine.

Why did you choose Drexel University PA program?
There were a few things that made the Drexel University PA program stand out as the program I was most interested in attending. I like that the mission statement of the Drexel PA program is primary care focused, as that was one of the major factors in creating this profession and is something that has personal importance to how I would like to practice medicine in the future. Another aspect that made this program stand out was the education offered. The Drexel PA program is one of the oldest in the country and has exceptionally good PANCE pass rates, so I knew I would be well cared for as far as my education would be concerned. The last reason I chose the Drexel PA program is the location. Being from a small town I have really enjoyed living in Philly, and I am trying to experience all that it has to offer.
