U.S. News and World Report announced their Best Online Master’s in Nursing programs this week, including rankings in nursing specialty areas.
“Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP) did it again,” stated Interim Dean Mary Gallagher Gordon, PhD. “Among private institutions, the publication named CNHP #13 out of 83 in online nursing programs and #45 out of the 200 ranked programs among both public and private universities and colleges,” she continued. Additionally, in specialties CNHP jumped to #3 in Nursing Education and #5 in Nursing Administration and #12 in Nursing Programs for Veterans.
CNHP is redefining care by readying graduate students for advanced roles that will improve health, health equity and quality of life of people for whom they care. The innovative, evidence-based and practical pedagogy along with exceptional interdisciplinary education are what make our programs stand out. “We strive to prepare future nursing leaders, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs and clinicians who are reimagining what health care is and solving the problems that present barriers to safe and high-quality care for all individuals,” said Kymberlee Montgomery, DNP, senior associate dean of nursing and clinical professor. “We know that nurses are integral in rebuilding the national health care system, one where everyone has access to high-quality care,” she added.
“We are so proud of our faculty and professional staff for their engaging academic curriculum to graduate students who are prepared to educate and to lead our health care systems,” concluded Gallagher Gordon.
