CNHP Online Master's Nursing Programs Ranked in USNWR

U.S. News and World Report announced their Best Online Master’s in Nursing programs, including rankings in nursing specialty areas. Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP) is now ranked 42 out of 194, placing the online program in the top 25 percent.
“The innovative, evidence-based, and practical pedagogy provided by our College along with the strength and commitment of our faculty, who deliver an exceptional and interdisciplinary education to our students, is certainly key to this important acknowledgement,” said CNHP Dean Laura N. Gitlin, PhD.
In the specialties U.S. News & World Report ranks, the College of Nursing and Health Professions jumped three spots in Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatric Mental Health to #3 while the College ranked #4 in Nursing Education, #4 in Nursing Administration and #8 in Nurse Practitioner – Family.
“In 2020, the year that The World Health Organization (WHO) declared as the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, it is a tremendous honor to be recognized by peers for the continued excellence of Drexel’s academic online master’s nursing programs, particularly during challenging times,” said Kym Montgomery, DNP, senior associate dean of Nursing & Student Affairs and chief academic nursing officer. “Our talented faculty are dedicated to student success in all areas of nursing and I am so proud of each one of them. Innovative instruction in leadership, education and clinical practice promotes exceptional nurses of tomorrow,” Montgomery furthered.
