This ethos is at the heart of the University's Ambition Can't Wait campaign launched in 2016. The Offices of Enrollment Management & Student Success and University Communications recognize that telling Drexel students' compelling stories and experiences give people a true sense of what makes Drexel unique beyond its well-known and respected cooperative education and legacy degree programs. "Ambition Can't Wait is a reputational, elevation campaign. It is about awareness," commented Joe Master, assistant vice president of Marketing & Digital Strategy in University Communications. "Our Drexel nursing and health care professionals perfectly embody the spirit of Ambition Can't Wait and illustrate Drexel's commitment to service and support for others," continued Master.

Having created a series of television commercials, they selected to feature a College of Nursing and Health Professions' disaster simulation exercise in this, the University’s fourth ad. "We wanted to present Drexel's disaster response program where students are given an emergency situation and must respond in real-time," shared Craig E. Kampes, associate vice president of Communications and Marketing in the Office of Enrollment Management & Student Success. "It is a wonderful example of how Drexel's model of experiential education truly prepares future leaders for a changing world," he asserted.

Over the last two years, healthcare and service professionals have been unimaginably challenged during the COVID-19 pandemic. "I can't think of a better time to celebrate Drexel's nursing and health professionals, given the past few years,” Kampes commented. “They truly are heroes — and it is a pleasure to be able to work on a collaborative team to tell their stories,” Master concluded.
