Joseph Zaweski, MHS ’00, is the program director at Valparaiso PA program in Indiana. Additionally, he chaired the PAEA Task Force for PA Educator Competencies which culminated in their adoption as official association policy at the 2018 Forum. He was also appointed an associate editor for the seventh edition of Ballweg's Physician Assistant: A Guide to Clinical Practice.

Stephanie Cardace, MHS ’12, has been named to the James Madison University Alumni board of directors.

Kelley McCormack, MHS ’18, was engaged recently. An April 2020 wedding is planned.

Emily Ortiz, MHS ’18, was part of the team that completed the first outpatient robotic total knee arthroplasty in the state of Oregon in September 2019.

Jessica DeLuise, MHS '11, is teaming up with Produce for Kids, which promotes nutrition education for children, in a monthly web series, Food Rx, which will include Instagram Live videos as well as blog posts and podcast episodes focusing on the important role food plays in overall health. The first segment will air on Instagram on July 14 where Ms. DeLuise will be sharing kid-friendly recipe ideas and talking through the health benefits of each recipe. Ms. DeLuise is a physician assistant and culinary medicine specialist who writes for EatYourWayToWellness.com.

Henry Mensack, BS physician assistant '98, joined the Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware. Mensack joined OASD in July 2008. He was previously a registered nurse, practicing at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.

Rick Irving, MHS '06, was appointed corporate director of Collaborative Care at Cape Fear Valley Health. In his new duties, Irving will oversee patient movement throughout their continuum of care at Cape Fear Valley, help manage clinical support for health system hospitalists and manage patient care in a new Transition of Care Services Unit.

Tara J. Bugbee, DO, MS, physician assistant, '05, an emergency medicine physician at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, recently received board certification from the American Osteopathic Association Board of Emergency Medicine.
