Teresa Fairchild-Pitcher, MSN `09 has joined the Wilkes University's Passan School of Nursing as an assistant professor.

 

Norlyn Serrano Asprec, MCAT `13 has been appointed executive director at the Health Professions Education Foundation, where she has served as acting executive director since 2017 and as marketing and outreach director since 2016. 

 

Matthew "Matt" Dane Baker, PA-C, DHSC, BS `83 joined Thomas Jefferson University as senior vice provost and vice president of academic affairs, according to a LinkedIn update. Previously he was provost and dean of the faculty at Philadelphia University. This move is likely due to the merger of the two institutions. 

Kerri Link Heckert, RD, MS `11, a registered dietitian at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, wrote an article for the Inquirer.

 

Leigh Anne Schmidt, MSN `11, nursing director at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, was quoted in an article about RWJ University Hospital expanding their ER with a $60 million project. 

 

Akubure Uzoije, RN, BSN `05 was recognized by the International Nurses Association and will be featured in an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Uzoije is a registered nurse serving as president of Home Health Services and director of nursing within Better Living Home Healthcare Services in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
