Sharon K. Byrne, DrNP (DrNP ’10) was honored at the New Jersey State Nurses Association Institute for Nursing's 2016 Diva and Don Gala on December 7th. 

 

Jillian Alderfer (BS ’14), who is completing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, spoke to high school students in Wallenpaupack, Pennsylvania about her career path. 

 

Archana Arya (BSN ’10) and Concetta Scarpello Fiorentino (MSN ’07) are members of the first graduating class of West Chester University to receive a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. 

 

Sun L. Nguyen (BSN ’09), a dermatology nurse practitioner at Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners, will be featured in the upcoming publication of Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. 

 

Mary A. Odira (BS ’14) was promoted to director of quality improvement at Melmark, a non-profit provider of services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other behavioral challenges. 

 

John D. Sauder (BSN ’88) was promoted to president of Mennonite Home Communities in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. 

Elizabeth Louise Jones (BSN ’06) was a guest on the podcast Notes from the Underground. The topic of the show was Red Shoe Project, dictators and love. Jones currently works as a trauma nurse in San Diego and spoke about love and relationships on the show.

 

Tonae Simon (BSN ’12) completed the ACE program and is a registered nurse, but her career path took an unusual turn. She found a way to promote health through her company Whimsicle—maker of healthy frozen pops. Read about the expansion of the business in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
