Judy Ensslin, MS, RDN, LDN, program director, Melissa Matsumura, MS, RDN, LDN, program manager, and Alyssa Kalter, nutrition educator, of the PA Tracks Nutrition Education Program, Department of Nutrition Sciences, recently presented at an educator training for statewide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education sponsored by the Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network, “Nutrition Programming in High School:  Navigating the Options.”  Their three, short videos focused on the rewards and challenges of working with high school students, presented the teachers’ thoughts about the SuperTracker curriculum, and highlighted the tower gardens at Saul High School.

Physician Assistant Olympics
 
Julie Kinzel and Ryan Clancy were awarded the Partnership Award for the role that they played in the success of the Physician Assistant Olympics.  Seven PA Programs from the Philadelphia area were honored for the charitable collaboration.  The PA Olympics has grown from a collaboration among three programs to seven programs and raised over $56,000 for 14 local student-selected charities.
