Life After Drexel

Every student, regardless of major, is on an individualistic path toward finding a happy, fulfilling life post-college. Sometimes this path is difficult to navigate, especially alone. Drexel University has the resources and support in place to help you in the pursuit of your career. Bill Felty, coordinator for graduating seniors and recent alumni at Steinbright Career Development Center (SCDC) is one such resource.

Students are encouraged to meet with Bill one-on-one at any time to sit down and talk about how to can achieve your goals: the ideal job, graduate school, professional school, travel, service or something else. Residency Program for Newly-Licensed RNs

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center (‘America’s Research Hospital’) offers a unique 12-month residency program in clinical research nursing for newly licensed RNs.

The vacancy announcement for the position will be live on the USAJobs website in early May. Slots are competitive, and include a variety of specialty settings, such as oncology, pediatrics, med surg, neurology and psychiatry. The resident would start at the end of August/Early September on their units. The 12-month residency program will begin in October.
