At last week's Spring Auction for C.A.R.I.E. (Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly ~ http://www.carie.org/), HSAD majors Hemanti Sarvaiya and Derrick Dignam volunteered to help attendees at this annual fundraising event. The event was very successful, aided in part by the on-site assistance of our HSAD student volunteers!

At the end of this term, four HSAD students will have completed their Health Administration internships at C.A.R.I.E., where they learn about phone advocacy and counseling for seniors; fund-raising and development; event planning; press release and marketing material development, and so much more!
