Some lucky nursing students from Drexel’s ACE program recently had the opportunity to meet Mayor Michael Nutter!  The students were working their Public Health clinical rotation at Norcom Community Center where the mayor came to celebrate the 400^th person to participate in Home Buy Now, a program that matches funds provided by employers to assist employees in purchasing a home in Philadelphia.  Drexel is an active participant in this program as well.  The celebration was meant to bring attention to the program’s value and encourage those with power to continue funding this initiative, as the city has now utilized all of its current funding.
