Judi Smith, MT (ASCP) Medical Technology, MCP ’81, vice president of in vitro diagnostics and quality at Precision for Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland, co-taught a webinar titled “Bridging Studies for US IVDs and CDx,” hosted by Precision for Medicine. Ms. Smith also serves on the faculty of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) University as an in vitro diagnostic Subject Matter Expert. As a member of the FDA/Industry Roundtable, Ms. Smith was awarded the FDA Group Recognition Award. She has served as president of the Association of Medical Diagnostics Manufacturers (AMDM) since 2006. She also serves on the Board of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society.
Susan Solecki, FNP-BC, PNP-BC Nursing Anesthesia MCPHU ’98, a doctoral candidate at Drexel and a clinical assistant professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, and Renee Turchi, MD, MPH, MCP ‘98, co-authored an article about teens and "pharming" (the recreational use and abuse of prescription drugs) in the peer-reviewed physicians’ journal, Contemporary Pediatrics.
