Shannon Brown MCAT, ‘92, director of counseling and advisement at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute in Hudson, North Carolina, illustrated his first published children's book called Queenie and Little Joe: A True Story about a Young Boy and His Pet Chicken.
Rhianna Cenci, RD, BS, Nutrition & Foods ‘13 was hired as the retail dietitian at ShopRite in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania. Ms. Cenci is one of more than 90 registered dietitians who service ShopRite stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, and Maryland.
Jeff Conforti, DPT,’06, the owner and director of Conforti Physical Therapy in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, was appointed to the board of Central Penn College in Summerdale, Pennsylvania.
Darcie Goldberg’s MCAT ‘96 photography collection, the 24/7 Project, is on display at a gallery at West Chester University’s E.O. Bull Center for the Arts. Ms. Goldberg is a professional photographer with over 30 years of experience. She is also executive director of the Chester County Art Association.
Linda Lowes, PT, PhD ‘97 was awarded an $80,000 research grant from Cure SMA for her project, “Development of An Innovative Outcome Measure to Define Disease Progression in SMA Type I for Use in the Home or Clinic.” Dr. Lowes is a researcher at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Angela Luciani BS, Nutrition & Food ’13, a registered dietitian at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, was interviewed for an article, "What is Clean Eating? 3 Registered Dietitians Weigh in" on Philly.com.
Brian T. Maurer, PA-C ‘79 was one of only 240 certified physician assistants nationally to earn a specialty credential known as a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Mr. Maurer is employed at Pediatric Walk-in Care in Enfield, Connecticut.
Graham Robbins, PT, MPT ‘95, the director of Rehab Services for Beebe Healthcare in Dover, Delaware, offered his advice in an article, "Exercise Precaution When Exercising in Cold" for the Salisbury, Maryland local newspaper, Daily Times.
