Nursing Course wins Partnership Award

On September 5, Drexel administration was notified that a
course offered by the College of Nursing and Health Professions via Drexel
Online has been selected as a recipient of the Partnership Award by the
University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA). The
course, Nurses Building a Healthy
Community, will be formally acknowledged at the 2014 UPCEA Mid-Atlantic
Conference in Newark, Delaware on October 9 at the University of Delaware.
According to Karen Goldschmidt, an assistant
clinical professor and Chair of the RN-BSN Department, this recognition is due
to the excellent work of course instructor Eileen Sosa and course coordinator Jeannine Uribe, PhD, who have been invited to attend the ceremony to accept the
award. The Dean of the College, Gloria Donnelly, also acknowledges
Goldschmidt’s leadership.
