Alumni Update: Where are they now?

Nyree Dardarian, MS Human Nutrition ’06, was interviewed in an article, "Perk Up! Coffee Packs Tons of Health Benefits!," appearing on the website Gym Talk Clothing. Dardarian is an instructor at the College of Nursing and Health Professions in the Nutrition Sciences Department, is the Director of the Center for Integrated Nutrition & Performance, and Coordinator of the Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway at Drexel.

Andrea L. DiDio BS Mental Health Technology (MCPHU ’98) was hired as the Human Resources Director for the Central Bucks School District in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She is leaving her post as Director of Human Resources and Public Relations for the Bucks County Centennial School District. She is also pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership from Drexel University.

David Alan Harris, MCAT ’02, was featured in an article, “The Battle Within: How Dance Helps Victims of War,” appearing on the Reflections in Verse blog. While pursuing his degree in Dance/Movement Therapy at Drexel, Harris applied Dance/Movement Therapy theories with a group of resettled “lost boys” from Sudan. Harris is the director of Global Wellbeing, which aims to deliver meaningful instruction for service providers working with survivors of war and organized violence, whether in post-crisis communities or in countries of refuge.

Elizabeth King, MCAT ’10, began working as an art therapist at The Cooper Foundation, part of Cooper University Health System. She also works in private practice as a psychotherapist. King previously worked in a variety of clinical settings including schools, medical hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient counseling centers, and nonprofit organizations.

Michael Yorke, MPT (MCPHU ’99), contributed an article, "Fighting Osteoporosis Through Physical Therapy," to the Berkeley Times. Yorke is the owner, clinical director and a physical therapist at All-Care Physical Therapy Center.
