Roberta Waite Accepted into NLN Academy of Nursing Education

Roberta Waite headshotRoberta Waite, an associate professor and Assistant Dean of Academic Integration and Evaluation of Community Programs, has been accepted as a Fellow of the National League for Nursing’s (NLN) Academy of Nursing Education (ANEF).

Fellows in the NLN Academy of Nursing Education are individuals who have made enduring and substantial contributions to nursing education as teachers, mentors, scholars, public policy advocates, practice partners, and administrators. They provide visionary leadership and are recognized for their expertise in nursing education.

On May 19, Waite received her acceptance letter, notifying her that she will join the eighth class of the NLN’s Academy of Nursing Education. She will be formally inducted into the Academy on September 19, 2014 at a ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona.
