Lisa Chiarello Named APTA Fellow

Lisa Chiarello, PhD, professor and Director of the PhD Program in Rehabilitation Sciences, was informed that she will receive the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) highest honor of membership. Chiarello will become a Catherine Worthingham Fellow at the upcoming June meeting of the APTA.
"Being a pediatric physical therapist and serving this profession has provided my life with grace and meaning," Chiarello said. "I am humbled by this honor and so grateful for this wonderful profession that has enabled me to serve children, families, and students and to advocate for the art and science of pediatric physical therapy and our role in promoting children's participation in their daily life and in supporting families."
