Student Life Awards 2014

The Student Life Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Drexel Undergraduate Student Government Association (USGA) and Student Affairs, is meant to recognize and reward Drexel community members who have made significant contributions to student life at the University and in the surrounding community. Deserving students, faculty, or professional staff are nominated for awards during winter term each year. Self-nominations are also accepted.
This year’s ceremony took place in Behrakis Grand Hall in the Creese Student Center on Drexel’s main campus. Award recipients included students from the College of Nursing and Health Professions:
Alexander Van Rensselaer Service Award: Rebecca Walker, BSN ‘15
Anthony T. Caneris Award for Outstanding Leadership: Taylor Collins, Health Sciences ‘15
Constantine Papadakis Award: Mahmoud Shurbaji, Health Services Administration ‘15
Dean’s Award for Outstanding Leadership and Service for a Graduating Senior: Alexis Burns, BSN ‘14
Distinguished Undergraduate Tutor of the Year: Andrea Pouschine, BSN ‘14
