An event with slavery expert and journalist E. Benjamin Skinner, co-sponsored by Drexel Students Advocating Against Slavery (SAAS), the Drexel University Office of International Programs, the College of Arts and Sciences, the International Area Studies Program, the Women’s Studies Program, and the College of Nursing and Health Professions and its Alumni Network, was featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer on May 27.

Sheena Pradhan, a 2011 graduate of the BS Nutrition Program at the College of Nursing and Health Professions, made a television appearance on Rogers TV South Asia Focus on May 20 to discuss her work as a Registered Dietitian and entrepreneur. Pradhan completed the Nutrition Science Department’s Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway Program at Drexel in 2012 and went on to create her own nutrition consulting company, Nutritious Balance. The segment aired on May 25.

Anela Collazo, a graduate of the Physician Assistant Program at the College of Nursing and Health Professions, was featured in an article on citybizlist.com. She will be joining the Carroll Hospital Center’s Carroll Health Group Orthopaedics. She will see patients with Samuel Matz, MD, who specializes in sports medicine and knee and shoulder surgery.
