Congratulations to the 2013 Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program graduates, 100% of whom passed their board examinations. A special congratulations to Lisa Johnson, the Track Director and the AG-ACNP for this accomplishment.

100% of the Nutrition Sciences graduates who sat for the Registered Dietetian Exam in 2013 have passed. This includes seven graduates of the Bachelor’s program, eight Master’s program graduates, and six alumni who completed the Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway (ISPP) at Drexel. Our impressive 100% pass rate exceeds the national average of 80%.

Diana Smith, a professor in the Physician Assistant Department, has been appointed to be a site visitor by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The ARC-PA is the accrediting agency that protects the interests of the public and the physician assistant profession by defining the standards for physician assistant education and evaluating physician assistant educational programs within the territorial United States to ensure compliance with those standards.

Megan Schneider, a professor in the Physician Assistant Department, has been appointed regional representative for the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistant region IV (Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, Chester and Berks counties).
