April 22, 2014

Davey Maureen HeadshotMaureen P. Davey, PhD, along with Roy A. Bean and Sean D. Davis, edited a book entitled Clinical Supervision Activities for Increasing Competence and Self-Awareness. Dr. Davey is a licensed marriage and family therapist, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) approved clinical supervisor, and faculty member in the College of Nursing and Health Professions’ Department of Couple and Family Therapy at Drexel University. She has more than 15 years of clinical, supervisory, and clinical research experience.

Providing tested guidance for clinical supervisors of mental health professionals, the editors drew from their own backgrounds in training, private practice, and academe, as well as from an international panel of experts representing various mental health fields to provide activities and best practices that allow therapists to better serve an increasingly diverse set of clients and issues.
