Roberta Waite Publishes Underage Drinking Review Paper with DNP Graduate Sandra Jones

November 13, 2013

Roberta Waite, EdD, an associate professor and the Dean of Academic Integration and Evaluation of Community Programs at the College, collaborated with Sandra Jones, DrNP, nursing graduate from Drexel's Doctor of Nursing Practice Program, to publish a review paper entitled “Underage Drinking: An Evolutionary Concept Analysis” in Nursing Clinics of North America. In the review, they discussed the important role of nurses as the first line of defense when it comes to dealing with underage drinking. Jones and Waite also explored useful ways to deter the first underage experience with alcohol. Using her nursing background,  Waite introduced information from her clinical work in the field.
