Kate Morse Accepted to the NLN’s Leadership Development Program for Simulation Educators
December 2, 2013
Congratulations to Kate Morse, PhD, an assistant clinical professor and Chair of the Nurse Practitioner Program, who was accepted into the National League for Nursing’s Leadership Development Program for Simulation Educators, which is designed for the experienced simulation nurse educator who wishes to assume a leadership role in simulation. This is a year-long program during which Morse and her cohort will examine issues related to research in simulation curricular integration, the role of simulation in inter-professional education, and to managing simulation within a school of nursing or a service setting. The program fosters individual growth, interpersonal interactions within the group, and networking. The program is extremely selective, as it is open to only 20 simulation educators each year.
