CI00 Major Declaration

Overview

Undecided students must declare a major within CCI by the end of spring term, first academic year. This new policy is adding addendum of the option for students to declare in the winter term, first year for co-op considerations. And the official process for major declaration.

Undecided students admitted to the College of Computing and Informatics for Fall 2021 and after are advised to declare a major by the end of the winter term, first academic year, for co-op consideration. All undecided students must declare a major by the end of the spring term in the first academic year. To declare a major within CCI, consult with your academic advisor regarding the procedure to declare a major. Students are eligible to move into any of CCI's undergraduate degree programs or the joint BS degree in Economics and Data Science. The Director of Advising may approve an exception for extenuating circumstances, to allow additional time to declare the major.
