Make a Gift
A gift to the College of Computing & Informatics means an investment in the future.
Your gift to Drexel University's College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) helps our ambitious undergraduate and graduate students to be tomorrow’s innovators and solution-makers, and gain a unique combination of knowledge and experience that empowers them to be leaders in their chosen fields.
Your investment will help support strategic College priorities, such as the Women in Computing Initiative, and student scholarships, research projects, educational resources and so much more.
Your generous support provides much-needed financial aid for our brightest students to graduate and also helps our students pursue unique opportunities that enrich their academic experience, such as participating in international research collaborations or attending conferences.
Help make a difference in our students’ lives — in helping to build their futures, grow through experience, achieve success, and accomplish their dreams — by making a gift today.
CCI Dean’s Strategic Fund
CCI is committed to helping our faculty and students achieve success through scholarship support, faculty support and capital improvements. Your support of Dean and Isaac L. Auerbach Professor Yi Deng's strategic fund allows him to respond our College's highest, most pressing priorities.
With a goal of increasing enrollment of women students by 50% in the next five years, the College is committed to diversity and inclusion in computing and information science education. In fall 2017, the College officially partnered with the National Center for Women & Information Technology to help launch a Women in Computing Initiative to create the most inclusive environment possible. In addition, the College has announced a goal of creating 100 scholarships for female students.
Your gift will also help Dean Deng to invest in our faculty, in recruiting and retaining industry experts to provide the highest level of academic experience for our students. From the classroom to co-op, our students are leveraging their creativity and ambition to address today’s societal and technological "pain points," and anticipate tomorrow’s challenges. Our multidisciplinary faculty regularly collaborate with industry in the research and development of real-world solutions in areas such as healthcare, aviation, data science, defense, telecommunications, and more. The College’s Empathic Design and Technology Research Group recently worked with the School of Education and the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute to develop an iPad application called Lilypad to help elementary school classroom staff to record student behavioral information for as it happens, while also providing guidance through intervention plans.
By making a gift to the CCI Dean's Strategic Fund, you are providing the essential resources our students need to advance in their academic careers and benefit from experiences outside the classroom walls.
