I chose this major because... I think it's the perfect combination of applied mathematics and learning how to deploy your solutions to others at scale. I've been programming and tinkering around with software as young as I can remember, but Computer Science is more about solving life's problems in a methodical way. From the structure of the CPU in your computer all the way to cloud technology, you learn how computers shape our modern society and how to build tools that better our world.

When you are in Philadelphia, I think you should... Visit Penn's Landing for skating, and look for places to eat in Rittenhouse.
Advice to new/incoming CCI students: Try out everything that interests you, and apply to everything you find interesting. Don't be afraid to fail and don't take it too personally, as it's a requirement for you to grow, find your niche, and be successful at Drexel.
What is your dream job? Applying machine learning models as a Data Scientist or to financial markets as a quantitative analyst.

I'm a junior Computer Science major with a minor in Mathematics. I'm also the president of Drexel AI as well as a research assistant with CCI's AI researchers. I'm from right outside Philly, and I love to surf, explore nature, and travel along the East Coast.
