Drexel CIRTL Scholars Certificate

DREXEL CIRTL SCHOLARS CAN:

  • Train in and development the design or assessment of teaching and learning research.
  • Provide faculty with resources for designing and assessing curricular innovations.
  • Present or publish a successfully completed SoTL project that integrates all three of the CIRTL core ideas.
  • Understand how students learn effectively and how teaching influences the process.

Scholar level requirements - Step 1

Products
Students need to finalize their SoTL projects, and either publish and/or present the SoTL project to an internal or external community.

Students can enroll in ISTM 516: Rotations in STEM Education for a third section to fulfill internship requirements for the PROFESS MS in Undergraduate STEM Education.
Students can choose to expand their research to assess a larger data pool or finalize it and present and/or publish it internally at Drexel University or externally to a larger community.

Scholar level requirements - Step 2

  • Submit a three-minute reflection to CASTLE that details your experience completing the three levels in the Drexel CIRTL program and how you plan to use evidence-based teaching in your career. Videos can be submitted here.
