Lynelle Martin Receives a Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship to Fund International Co-op

Lynelle Martin, BS/MS student, School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, received a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to fund her upcoming co-op in Singapore, where she will be working in software engineering at Biobot Surgical, supporting the development of their Mona Lisa prostate cancer diagnostic robot. The Gilman Scholarship supports undergraduate students pursuing study abroad and international co-op opportunities. Lynelle also was the first Drexel student to receive a Gilman STEM Supplemental Award, which funds a biotechnology-focused internship abroad, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical or medical device research and development.
