Hailee Mayer Wins New Investigator Session at UltraCon 2024 Medical Ultrasound Symposium April 11, 2024 Hailee Mayer, PhD candidate (Advisor: P. Lewin), School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, won the new investigator session at UltraCon 2024, hosted by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Hailee won for her paper titled, “An in vitro Investigation of Lumason’s Subharmonic Response for Pressure Estimation with Direct Comparison to Sonazoid and Definity” (Co-authors: H. Mayer, F. Forsberg, G.W. Kim, P. Machado, J. Eisenbrey, T. Vu, and K. Wallace). This award recognizes and honors outstanding new investigators for excellence in conducting ultrasound research.
