Dov Jaron, PhD, professor emeritus, Calhoun Distinguished Professor of Engineering in Medicine, School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, was nominated and elected to the prestigious Fellowship of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia for his contributions to medical and biomedical research through his extensive work in the field of biomedical engineering.

The number of non-medical doctors in the College is very small, thus making Dr. Jaron’s induction even more pronounced and distinctive. Dr. Jaron’s formal induction into the College will take place on Friday evening, November 17, 2023, when he will sign the historic Fellowship register, receive his certificate of Fellowship, and experience the distinction of the College Night induction ceremony.
