Coulter-Drexel Program Hosts Young Researchers From Japan

September 29, 2023

Coulter-Japan visitorsThe Coulter-Drexel Translational Research Program was honored to host researchers from the Mansfield Foundation's Mansfield-PhRMA Research Scholars Program, which is a U.S.–Japan exchange that brings young researchers from Japan’s pharmaceutical and development field to the United States each year to learn about U.S. healthcare policy, pharmaceutical research, regulatory practices, and translational research.

The Foundation sponsors exchanges, discussions and publications that foster networks among U.S. and Asian leaders, in general. Ken Barbee, senior associate dean in Drexel University's School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, gave an overview and fielded many thoughtful questions from the group. The Coulter-Drexel Translational Research Program looks forward to hosting this group again in the future.
