Arjun Sharma Wins First Place at the Close School of Entrepreneurship 2023 Future Fest Fast Pitch Competition February 22, 2023 Arjun Sharma, graduate student, School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems (Advisor: S. Kurtz), won First Place and $500 in the Fast Pitch competition at Drexel’s Close School of Entrepreneurship 2023 Future Fest, held February 21, 2023. Arjun and his team’s technology is called Autoseg. Arjun is currently doing an independent research and development on this topic with help of Dr. Steven Kurtz and Prof. Michael Glaser. He and his teammate are focused on researching and developing innovative technologies in the MedTech field, including their exciting project called Autoseg. Autoseg is currently in its research phase and aims to create a cutting-edge 3D virtual reality platform that allows medical professionals and students to analyze and practice complex procedures related to the human heart. By simulating the real-life environment of the heart in a virtual space, Autoseg provides a safe and interactive way for healthcare providers to enhance their skills and knowledge before performing procedures on actual patients.
