Dr. Catherine von Reyn Publishes a Paper in the Public Library of Science ONE on an Optogenetics Device with Smartphone Video Capture May 7, 2022 Dr. Catherine von Reyn, assistant professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, authored the paper title, “An Optogenetics Device with Smartphone Video Capture to Introduce Neurotechnology and Systems Neuroscience to High School Students,” which was published in the May 6, 2022 edition of the journal The Public Library of Science ONE (PLOS ONE). Dr. von Reyn and her team will use the optogenetics device in summer academies and high school settings as part of STEM outreach at local schools. Link to publication
