Drexel University's School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems Global Innovation Partnership (BIOMED GIP) helped launch the Medical Technology Innovation Seminar Series at Istanbul Medipol University on March 16, 2022. Jamie Mak, managing director of Drexel BIOMED GIP, was invited to kickoff the seminar series. 

The seminar series is a collaboration among Drexel BIOMED GlP, Istanbul Medipol University, and ITU ARI Teknokent, and was inspired by the GIP MedTech Innovation Course Series and Workshop. The MedTech Innovation Course at Drexel University takes students on a global journey, from the academic bench to the healthcare trench, in Philadelphia, USA; Shanghai, China; as well as in Istanbul and Ankara, Turkey.
