A cross university-led COVID-19 rapid-response effort–led by Drs. Amy Throckmorton, Michele Marcolongo, and Ellen Bass–the Drexel Face Shield team built over 36,000 face shields, and donated almost 35,000 to over 100 organizations.

This team came together, collaborated, coordinated across academic units with external community partners, and executed a joint mission to address the unmet clinical need for medical face shields during these unprecedented times.
