Dr. Peter A. Lewin and Colleagues Receive a 2019 Drexel Areas of Research Excellence (DARE) Award for Their Cell2Society Aging Project

Drs. Peter A. Lewin, Richard B. Beard Distinguished University Professor and Director, Biomedical Ultrasound Research and Education Center and colleagues received a 2019 Drexel Areas of Research Excellence (DARE) Award for their project titled, “Cell2Society Aging.” The goal is to embody the spirit of Drexel’s “The Future is a Place We Make” campaign, by creating a novel ecosystem for the pursuit of use-inspired aging research from which to inform the role of Drexel University in an aging society.
The Principal Investigator is Dr. Rose Ann DiMaria-Ghalili (CNHP), who is affiliated with Biomed, and is Co-PI on the team’s $3M NIH wound grant.
