Nonresident Alien Tax Compliance System
New international students and employees must set up accounts with the Glacier™ Nonresident Alien Tax Compliance System. This web-based software allows students, visiting scholars, and guest lecturers to complete all documents required for tax processing from anywhere in the world – eliminating the need to schedule lengthy interviews.
Required Documents
After verifying I-9 with Human Resources (employees and students with campus jobs) or receiving an invitation letter (guest lecturers), please submit original copies of the following:
- Passport page and expiration date
- Visa (Canadians exempt)
- I-94
- I-20, I-797, DS-2019, or other employment authorization documents
- International Student/Employee Notification Sheet (provided by Human Resources)
This information can be provided via email to nonresident_tax@drexel.edu or in person at 3201 Arch Street, Suite 400.
Your information will be entered into the Glacier™ Nonresident Alien Tax Compliance System. You will receive an email, to the address you provided, with a link to the Glacier™ website.
Visit the Glacier™ website and complete the required fields for registration. At the end of the process, PDF files will be provided to you. Print, sign and return these forms to the Office of Tax Compliance. We cannot complete tax setup and provide information to Payroll or Accounts Payable until these forms are returned to us!
Once signed forms are received, please allow 24 hours for processing.
