Lockheed Martin has a longstanding partnership with Drexel University – sharing a common goal of preparing tomorrow’s workforce for technical innovation. As a result, the university has forged additional collaboration opportunities with Lockheed Martin, including an on-campus multipurpose space called the Lockheed Matin Launchpad. Programming will include experiential learning and research opportunities, tech talks, and networking events for students, faculty, and Lockheed Martin employees.

Managed by the Drexel Solutions Institute, the partnership will also explore research projects in materials science, advanced communication systems, and 3D modeling. These areas are essential for the future development and production of several Lockheed Martin mission portfolios in the Delaware Valley, including the Aegis Combat System, Long Range Discrimination Radar, and SPY-7 Radar.
