The Standing Committee on AI (SCAI)

The Standing Committee on AI (SCAI) at Drexel University is dedicated to exploring and addressing the wide-ranging impact of artificial intelligence across the institution. This includes its influence on academics — such as courses, curricula, and programs — as well as admissions, logistics, policies, procedures, and the university’s strategic planning and vision.

SCAI serves as an advisory body to senior leadership, helping ensure Drexel is not only prepared for the transformative changes AI brings to higher education but is positioned to lead them. The committee also plays a vital role in advancing Drexel’s Area of Excellence and Opportunity (AEO) in AI, Computing, and Cybersecurity Frontiers.
