Join us for an artist talk with Cey Adams and Jane Golden, Director of Mural Arts Philadelphia, in honor of the closing of Cey Adams, Departure: 40 Years of Art & Design.

An artist talk and closing reception for Cey Adams, Departure: 40 Years of Art & Design will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 5 - 8 PM. From 5 - 6 PM, Cey Adams will be in conversation with Jane Golden, Executive Director of Mural Arts Philadelphia, discussing Adams' multifaceted career, his relationship with graffiti, and his experience with public art.
At the reception, there will be food and drink as well as an airbrush artist demonstration with J.T. Taylor. This event is free and open to the public, however, we ask that you please RSVP HERE.
Jane Golden has been the driving force of Mural Arts Philadelphia since its inception, overseeing its growth from a small city agency into the nation’s largest public art program and a global model for transforming public space and community through art. Under Golden’s direction, Mural Arts has created over 4,000 works of public art through innovative collaborations with community-based organizations, city agencies, nonprofit organizations, schools, the private sector, and philanthropies.
