Class of 2009

Kristen Behrens was elected partner at Dilworth Paxson in Cherry Hill, N.J., where she is a trusts and estates attorney who specializes in special needs trusts.

William Grigos is a patent attorney at Jones Robb PLLC, an IP law firm in Washington, D.C.

Jennifer Hermansky was elevated to shareholder in the Business Immigration & Compliance Practice at Greenberg Traurig in Philadelphia.

Blake Roth was elected partner of Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP in Nashville, Tennessee.  A member of the firm’s Finance & Restructuring Team, he advises indenture trustees, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, official creditors, court-appointed receivers and other banking and financial institutions in matters related to distressed debt, bankruptcy litigation and commercial litigation.

Danielle (Mourar) Travagline, who practices with Christopher B. Jones PC in Scranton, Pennsylvania, won the Democratic and Republican primaries in the race for Magisterial District Judge in Monroe County, Pennsylvania in May.  She will run unopposed in November’s general election.

Class of 2010

Kevin Falkenstein, is an associate at Adinolfi & Packman of Haddonfield, N.J., where he handles divorce and family law.  SJ Magazine listed him on its Top Attorney List for Family Law for the fourth consecutive year in 2017.

Katie Jelen, a music publishing and artist relations manager with Secret Road Music Services in Nashville, Tennessee, served as co-chair of the 2017 Nashville Film Festival’s Music Committee.

Class of 2011

Nicole (Henry) Addezio was elected shareholder of Capehart Scatchard in Mount Laurel, N.J., where she represents insurance carriers and employers in defense of workers’ compensation claims.

Ellie Austin is schools legal counsel for School & College Legal Services of California in Santa Rosa.

Priscilla Jimenez, an associate at Kline & Specter, was listed among the 2017 Best Lawyers in Pennsylvania for the Personal Injury category.

Diana Silva, an environmental litigation associate at Manko Gold Katcher & Fox in Bala Cynwd, Pennsylvania was named by The Legal Intelligencer as a 2017 Lawyer on the Fast Track.

Class of 2012

Elizabeth Crawford, an associate at Kline & Specter, was co-counsel on the17-week trial that followed the 2013 Salvation Army building collapse in Center City and on the subsequent $227 million settlement of lawsuits filed by victims.  It was the largest personal-injury settlement in Pennsylvania state court history.

Tanishka Cruz, an attorney at the Legal Aid Justice Center in Virginia, was quoted in the Washington Post in May about a case before the Virginia Court of Appeals in which she is representing the mothers of two immigrant juveniles.

Claudia Joy (Hage) Demitro, a deputy attorney general in New Jersey, argued State v. Ingram, a bail reform case, before the New Jersey Supreme Court on May 16.  She was nine months pregnant at the time.

Joe McPeak is an attorney at Scovern Law, a plaintiffs' firm in San Francisco, California that handles defective pharmaceutical and medical device litigation.

William Gruitza recently accepted a job as in-house counsel to oversee compliance for Martin Health System, based in Stuart, Florida.  

Claudia Shank is an associate at McNees Wallace & Nurick in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she practices in the Real Estate Group.

Justin Tomevi, an associate at Barley Snyder in York, Pennsylvania, was admitted to the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, based on his representation of a minority member of a LLC frozen out of an expanding technology startup.  After a successful preliminary injunction hearing, the majority shareholder settled the case for nearly $4 million.

Brieanna Wheeland is corporate counsel with Atairos, a private company focused on supporting growth-oriented businesses, with offices in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and New York City.

Nicole Allen White, director of government affairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, appeared on the Philadelphia Business Journal's 2017 40 Under 40 list and was nominated for a 2017 Women’s Achievement Award by KYW Newsradio.

Class of 2013

Kiandra Bair, an associate at McNees Wallace & Nurick in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was named a 2017 Distinguished Leader by The Legal Intelligencer in a listing that featured prominent judges, law firm chairs and law school deans.  She was recognized for successfully petitioning President Obama for clemency on behalf of a pro bono client.

Michael Bassett is an associate at Fox Rothschild in Philadelphia, where he is a member of the corporate, health law and privacy and data security practice groups.  He is a member of the Health Care Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Law Section.  

Adam Busler, a litigation associate at Fox Rothschild in Atlantic City, N.J. is chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Atlantic County Bar Association.

Raj Datta is an assistant U.S. attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky, where he works on financial litigation and money laundering cases.

Rachel Freedman is an associate at Marshall Dennehey in Philadelphia, where she focuses on medical and dental malpractice defense as well as commercial and residential premises liability defense.

Erica (Cohen) Mallon, an associate at Carlton Fields in Tampa, Florida, wrote an article that appeared in the American Health Lawyers Association Weekly on March 24, 2017: “Hacking of Medical Devices is No Longer Just an Outlandish Movie Plot.”

Stephanie Papastephanou, an associate at BakerHostetler in Philadelphia, served on a team of attorneys involved in a contractual indemnity action that won a $108.9 million verdict, among the 100 Top Verdicts of 2016, according to ALM VerdictSearch.

Class of 2014

Kyle Nocho is an associate at Kline & Specter, where he focuses on child sexual abuse and human trafficking cases as well as medical negligence and catastrophic injury litigation.

Eric Sando, an associate at Earp Cohn in Cherry Hill, N.J., was honored as the 2017 Volunteer of the Year by SeniorLAW Center for pro bono work done on behalf of an elderly woman whose home was destroyed by fire and then stolen through a forged deed.

Class of 2015

Christopher Bailes is clerking for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Saylor.

L. Anthony DiJiacomo is a litigation associate at Weisberg Law in Morton, Pennsyvlania, where he specializes in plaintiff-oriented civil litigation, focusing on consumer protection, legal malpractice, civil rights and business disputes.

Ian Mandell is special legal assistant to the chief counsel at the Transportation Security Administration in Washington, D.C.

Daniella Price is an associate at McDonnell & Associates in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, where she represents corporate clients in premises liability, products liability and employment law.

Class of 2016

Emily Derstine Friesen, an associate at Console Mattiacci Law in Philadelphia, was co-counsel on an age- discrimination case that secured a $51.56 million verdict on behalf of a former Lockheed Martin employee who was laid off after nearly 29 years of employment. 

Nicholas Hubner is a staff attorney in the Philadelphia office of Hausfeld, a global firm that specializes in commercial litigation and antitrust law.

Mica Iddings is assistant counsel at the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board in Harrisburg.

Daniel Kravets is judicial law clerk to Judge C. Theodore Fritsch of the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County.

Jeffrey Masters, an associate at Dechert in Philadelphia, was among a team who received the firm’s annual Samuel K. Klein Pro Bono Award for representing 16 individuals from Afghanistan who had been detained at the Guantanamo Bay prison.

Hannah Molitoris is a staff attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia.

Kristin Brown Parker, as of September, will be clerking for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Saylor.

Virginia Chase Ralls, a senior associate attorney at James L. Chase and Associates in Pensacola, Florida, was promoted to director of the firm’s estate planning department.

Jesse Proctor is an associate at Capehart & Scatchard in Mount Laurel, N.J., where is works in the firm’s workers’ compensation department.

Sam Scavuzzo is clerking for Judge Jack Sabatino, deputy presiding judge in the New Jersey Appellate Division. Starting in September, he will clerk for New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina.

Class of 2017

Sarah Jammer has accepted a job as assistant district attorney with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Lauren McGinley has accepted a job as law clerk for Judge Alia Moses of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Jessica Reilly has accepted a job at Clark Hill in Philadelphia.

Mara Smith, who has accepted a job as an associate at Montgomery McCracken in Philadelphia, was elected chair of sponsorship for the Professional Women’s Roundtable.  She is also a board member at the University of Scranton Alumni Society.
