Jennifer Hermansky was named one of the Top 25 Women in Law for 2016 by The Legal Intelligencer. She is an associate at Greenberg Traurig in Philadelphia, where she represents clients in immigration matters.  She was also rated a 2017 Super Lawyers Rising Star in Immigration Law.

Patrick Egan was promoted to senior manager of compliance operations at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in September.

Tanishka Cruz, an attorney with the Legal Aid Justice Center in Charlottesville, Va., was featured in a National Public Radio story about her representation of unaccompanied minors seeking asylum from El Salvador.

Ben Simmons, an associate at DeFino Law Associates in Philadelphia, was rated a 2017 Super Lawyers Rising Star in General Litigation.

Shelby Skeabeck, an attorney at Shawe Rosenthal in Baltimore, testified before the Maryland General Assembly on employment-related legislation on behalf of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.

John Steed, an attorney and manager of the Law Offices of Ellen Best’s practice in Stonington, Me., won his first jury trial in September, when a jury acquitted his client of aggravated cruelty in a puppy’s death.

Joanna Suder, a deputy attorney general in Delaware, was listed as a “Top Lawyer” for 2016 by Delaware Today magazine.

Justin Tomevi, an associate at Barley Snyder in York, Pa., was rated a 2017 Super Lawyers Rising Star in Business Litigation.

Kiandra Bair, an associate at McNees Wallace & Nurick in Lancaster, Pa., secured a commutation of a client’s 20-year-to-life sentence from President Obama in a pro bono case.

Mauricio Cuellar, an associate at Laurletta Birnbaum in Sewell, NJ, was rated a 2017 Super Lawyers Rising Star in Real Estate, Land Use/Zoning and Business/Corporate Law.

Lara Dellegrotti is an associate at Marshall Dennehey in Camp Hill, Pa., where she focuses on professional liability and employment matters.

Rachel King is an associate at Eckert Seamans in Philadelphia, where she focuses on labor and employment law.

Nadum, founder of Nadum Law Associates in Philadelphia, was rated a 2017 Super Lawyers Rising Star in Criminal Defense.

Lane Jubb, an associate at the Beasley Firm in Philadelphia, was rated a 2017 Super Lawyers Rising Star in Medical Malpractice.

Meghan Kelley was appointed a Presidential Management Fellow at the Federal Transit Administration in Washington, D.C.  She serves as an environmental protection specialist in the agency's Office of Environmental Programs, where she assists with the environmental review process for proposed public transportation projects and helps draft environmental regulations and guidance.

Lauren Strebel, an associate at Langsam Stevens Silver & Hollaender in Philadelphia, wrote an article in October about Justice Louis D. Brandeis for the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, for which she serves as an associate editor.

Brittany Wakim, an associate at Eckert Seamans in Philadelphia, was rated a 2017 Super Lawyers Rising Star in Civil Litigation.

John Wilson is a Navy JAG attorney, stationed in Naples, Italy.

Class of 2015

Margaret Costello is an associate at Rawle & Henderson in Philadelphia, where she concentrates her practice on casualty and premises liability matters.

Mallory Deardorff-Dawson is an attorney at Reiling Teder & Schrier in Lafayette, Ind., where she focuses her practice on corporate and business law, commercial litigation, creditor reprsentation, real estate transactions, banking law and estate planning services.

Kia Ghee Eneanya is an assistant city solicitor with the City of Philadelphia Law Department, where she handles labor and employment matters.

Karen Grethlein is an associate at Kane Pugh Knoell Troy & Kramer in Norristown, Pa., where she is part of a defense litigation team that represents employers, insurance companies and individuals.

Connor Hackert, who is completing a clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, will join the US. Department of Justice Civil Division as an Honors Attorney in Washington, D.C., starting in October. 

Deenah Kogan, an associate at Galfand Berger in Philadelphia, wrote an article about her experience in pro bono service for the Philadelphia Bar Reporter in October.

Alisha Lubin and Daniella Price were elected to the executive committee of the National Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Division, Philadelphia Chapter. Price, elected president of the chapter, and Lubin, elected vice president, are both clerks in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. 

Alexandra Rogin is an associate at Eckert Seamans in Wilmington and Philadelphia, where she focuses on corporate and commercial litigation matters including stockholder disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, corporate governance and contract disputes.

Andrew J. Bond is an associate at Eckert Seamans in Philadelphia, where he focuses on professional liability matters, emphaszing defense of health care providers, hospitals and physicians in complex medical malpractice actions.

Ernie Holtzheimer, an associate at Montgomery, McCracken, was selected to join the American Bar Association’s Business Law Fellows Committee and he was elected to the executive advisory board of Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

Kate Lewis is an assistant district attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Casey McCurdy is an associate at Marks O’Neill O’Brien Doherty & Kelly in Philadelphia, where he focuses on Toxic Tort, Mass Tort and Product Liability.

Geoff Middleberg has launched a political research business, Dark Horse Strategy, based in Arlington, Va.

J. Hunter Morris is an assistant district attorney at the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office in San Antonio, Tex.
