THRIVE 2025: Student Empowerment Speaker Series
You earned your seat in the class, and we want to make sure you own it! Join us for THRIVE 2025, a speaker series beginning in the Fall quarter and continuing through Spring. All events in the series focus on fostering belonging and empowering students by having purposeful and brave conversations. This allows us to create a learning community that is free from bias and discrimination, and where all students develop a sense of belonging on campus.
Workshops and events throughout the year will allow you to:
- Develop the art of self-advocacy and the skills to manage difficult conversations.
- Discuss the imposter syndrome and strategies to overcome it.
- Learn about resources, norms, expectations, “unwritten rules,” and terms that may otherwise be lost in translation for someone new to Drexel.
- Foster and strengthen a culture of equal access and belonging for all by getting introduced to centers and programs on campus integral to student success.
- Build community and nurture a learning community of all backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas free from bias or discrimination.
