Education:

Cory earned her M.S. in Education - Teaching Learning and Curriculum as well as a Certificate in Education Policy from Drexel University, and her B.A. in Political Science with minor in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania.

Bio:

Cory currently serves as the Program Coordinator for Drexel University’s Action for Early Learning Initiative, supporting implementation, evaluation, research, report and grant writing, and program design and development. In this role, Cory collaborated on the design and successful implementation of a Summer Kindergarten Bridge Program, benefiting Philadelphia children and families, college-student teachers and public schools through opportunities for access to a quality Pre-K experience before starting Kindergarten. Cory’s experience includes a Policy Fellowship with the PA Office of Child Development and Early Learning, supporting state-wide early childhood policy, and advocacy work on the Pre-K for PA Campaign with Children’s First (formerly Public Citizens for Children and Youth). In addition, she has classroom experience in preschool and elementary schools. Cory is a member of Children’s First’s Young Professionals Advisory Council.
