2020 Velay Fellows
For the 2019-2020 school year, the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the STAR Scholars Program adapting to provide an opportunity for students to complete the program remotely in Summer 2020 or to participate in part-time research during two terms of the following academic year. Ten of our thirteen Velay Fellows opted for the remote research experience, while the other three students chose to defer their participation until the fall & winter terms of the 2020-21 academic year. All Velay Fellows were invited to participate in a remote version of the Velay programming during Summer 2020.
