DREXEL CIRTL SCHOLAR CERTIFICATE

Upon receipt of certification, a Drexel CIRTL Scholar can:

  • Train in and development the design or assessment of teaching and learning research
  • Provide faculty with resources for designing and assessing curricular innovations
  • Present or publish a successfully completed SoTL project that integrates all three of the CIRTL core ideas
  • Understand how students learn effectively and how teaching influences the process

Complete the activities below to earn your Drexel CIRTL Scholar Certificate. Submit the pdf checklists for Scholar Certificate Levels 1 and 2, along with your video reflection projects to castle@drexel.edu.

Scholar Requirements- Part 1

Requirements Submit for Evidence of Completion
Students need to finalize their SoTL projects, and either publish or present the project to an internal or external community Students can choose to expand their research or finalize and present or publish it internally at Drexel University or externally to a larger community
Students can enroll in Rotations in STEM Education (ISTM 516) for a third section to fulfill internship requirements for the PROFESS MS in Undergraduate STEM Education Students can choose to expand their research or finalize and present or publish it internally at Drexel University or externally to a larger community

Submit a three-minute video reflection to CASTLE that details your experience completing the three levels of the Drexel CIRTL program and how you plan to use evidence-based teaching in your career
