MCRC Speakers Discuss New Cannabis and Hemp Testing Report from the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission
For February's Speaker Series the Drexel Medical Cannabis Research Center (MCRC)'s welcomed David Standiford, Laboratory Compliance Coordinator, and Steven Crowley, Cannabis Policy Analyst, of the Oregon Liquor & Cannabis Commission (OLCC).
David and Steven presented findings from the OLCC’s May 2025 technical report on testing potency, contaminants, and label accuracy.
Their report, Evaluating Compliance, Potency, and Pesticides in Oregon’s Marijuana and Hemp Markets Ten Years after Legalization [PDF], utilized anonymous and random procurement methods, with hemp products being sourced online.
