Cannabis Science Expert Examines the Balance Between Consumption and Regulation
On October 24, 2024, Drexel University's Medical Cannabis Research Center (MCRC) welcomed Dr. Codi Peterson, a pediatric pharmacist and cannabis science expert, who presented on finding balance in regards to consumption, regulation, and building for the future of cannabis.
Leveraging a decade of clinical pharmacy experience, Dr. Peterson strives to bridge the gap between healthcare and cannabis through education and advocacy.
He is a PharmD graduate from Duquesne University and later graduated with an MS in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Peterson is the Chief Science Officer of The Cannigma, a science-forward media company dedicated to helping the world understand cannabis.
