Pennsylvania's Path to Legalizing Cannabis Faces Numerous Hurdles

Stephen Lankenau, PhD, professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health and co-director of the Medical Cannabis Research Center, was quoted in a March 11 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article about hurdles to Pennsylvania’s path to legalizing cannabis.

"We all have to learn to live with cannabis," said Dr. Lankenau. "How do we do it in a controlled manner that maximizes the benefits and minimizes the harms? It’s here, it’s happening, there’s no going back. In Pennsylvania, it’s not a question of 'if' but 'when.'"
