Tierra Whack, hip-hop recording artist and North Philadelphia native, wowed in an ensemble designed by Westphal graduate Fashion Design alumna and award-winning fashion designer Nancy Volpe Beringer with images painted by Liz Goldberg, Fashion Design adjunct instructor and internationally recognized artist and animator.

Both full-time students carrying 12 credits or more and part-time students who have accumulated 12 credits or more with a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher qualify for Dean’s List honors.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced its nominees for the 91st Academy Awards on Tuesday, and four of the nominated films feature the work of Drexel alumni from the Department of Digital Media: Ralph Breaks the Internet, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Ready Player One, and Avengers: Infinity War. 2019 is the seventh consecutive year that films nominated in the Visual Effects or Animated Feature Film category have featured the work of Westphal Digital Media graduates.
